It had been 65 years since Malaysia first celebrates its Independence Day on 31st August 1957.
NMUC had a small celebration with all students , lecturers and staffs on the eve of Merdeka last Tuesday. Students came in various traditional attires according to their race and some even put on other races costumes to display various colourful outfits .
The event commenced by 7 shout of Independence which was led by the president of our Student Representative Council to commemorate our 65th Independence Day.
Performances and showcases of traditional attires by our students made it more livelier as we stand in unity and living up to this year’s slogan ” Keluarga Malaysia Teguh Bersama” wishing that all NMUC family will continue to stand side-by-side despite our differences and cultures.
