Beach Clean Up Program At Pulau Merambong, Tg. Kupang, Johor.
On 2nd Dec 2023 Centre of Community Engagement of NMUC led by (CCE) led by Mr Aiman Muqri has successfully conducted Beach Clean Up Program at Pulau Merambong, Tg. Kupang, Johor. The program, which was a part of grant awarded by Majlis Bandaraya Iskandar Puteri (MBIP) to CCE & RMIC, was also a collaboration with Kelab Alami from Gelang Patah, Johor.
This one day program has been joined by NMUC lecturers which are Mr Ismail, Mr Adam, Mr Quastan, Mr Aqmal, Mr Johan, Ms Farah, Ms Hadzirah, Ms Shahidah, Ms Arina, Mdm Atikah, Ms Alia, Ms Umi and students, Department of Fisheries (DoF) as well as fishermen and villagers of Tg. Kupang. They have successfully collected approximately 300kg of rubbish around the island’s beach area.
Thank you very much to NMUC Management, lecturers, and students for their outstanding support, participation, and contribution to the success of this program as well as other previous programs. Hopefully, all of achievements by CCE throughout this year would be a factor for NMUC to soar upward in the years onward.
