On 20th March 2023 ,The Industry and Student Engagement department had organized an industry site visit to DB Schenker which is one of the world top 10 Integrated Logistics companies and has over 1850 offices in the world.
The students were eager to learn and actively participated in the Q&A session. They gained knowledge in freight forwarding, warehouse operations for chilled and ambiant temperature, custom clearance and intermodal transportation.
One of the speaker was one of our ex alumni from Diploma in Maritime Transportation Management, Syaidatul Huwaida. She started as an intern and now she has become the operation executive for land transport. She is one of the living proof to our existing students, that with good attitude and willingness to learn is important to secure a position in any company especially prominent ones.
