The Diploma in Airlines Cabin Crew Services is a program that trains individuals to have a career as a cabin crew member. It focuses on customer service, security procedures and airline operations. Graduates are prepared to work in the Airline Industry, providing excellent service to passengers in flight.
This course offers broad knowledge of professional body language, business communication etiquette, tablewares, and world-class menus. The course provides a blend of theory and practical training for the student to develop their talents and value in providing world-class services geared towards customer satisfaction. Students will be trained on how to present themselves, deliver speeches, and ethically use serving techniques as professional cabin crew for the airline services industry.
This course provides deep insights into the operations and business of air transport services and fundamental knowledge about the history of air travel, current trends in aviation, the regulatory bodies involved, the linkage process between airports and passengers, and the technology that is currently used in the aviation industry.
Programme Outline
This course encompasses almost all aspects of airlines industry and the activities that helps to facilitate it. Students will be introduced to various world class airlines, the cabin environment, the evolution of the airline cabin crew, the management of the cabin crew, and the characteristics of an airline. These are essential knowledge that will shape student’s perception and decision to choose their path in the airlines industry.

Medical Emergencies onboard the aircraft
Special Procedures for Inflight Contingencies
Length of the programme.
3 years (8 semesters)
Methodology
Each subject uses a variety of learning tools, such as case study, course work discussion, class participations, individual and group projects, and lecturers’ industrial experience which offer a perfect synergy between theory and application. The Industrial training in last semester will equip students with knowledge in industry as well as produce the knowledgeable, skilled and experienced graduates, demanded by employers. This course is to ensure the students apply the knowledge acquired at university to the working world and providing students with relevant work training experience.
Note: For international students, they are required to achieve a minimum score of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Entry Requirement
1. A pass in SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) credits in any
subject, or its equivalent; OR
2. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a
minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject, or its
equivalent; OR
3. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum
grade of Maqbul in any subject, or its equivalent; OR
4. A pass in SKM level 3 in a related field; OR
5. A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field or its equivalent
6. Competency Requirement (International Student): Achieve a
minimum Band 2 in MUET OR minimum score of 4.0 in the
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

Ear, Nose and Throat examination and Hearing
Eye examination, Visual Acuity and Colour Perception
Free from any abnormality, congenital or acquired
Free from any active, latent, acute or chronic disability
Free from any wound, injury or sequelae from operation or any effect or side-effect of any prescribed or non-prescribed therapeutic, diagnostic or preventive medication taken, such as would entail a degree of functional incapacity which is likely to interfere with the safe operation of an aircraft or with the safe performance of duties.
