NMUC and JTDC Launch PRO-MAHIR: Specialized Skill Development Programs for Maritime and Logistics
Johor Bahru – Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC), in collaboration with the Johor Talent Development Council (JTDC), is proud to announce the PRO-MAHIR Program (Program Pembangunan Kemahiran Johor). Fully sponsored by the Johor State Government, these intensive training sessions are designed to equip new graduates and job seekers with high-demand technical competencies.
Eligible participants can choose from two specialized tracks aimed at enhancing employability in the regional logistics hub of Johor
Program Tracks & Schedules
1. Smart Logistics Using Internet of Things (IoT)
This track focuses on modernizing supply chains through digital transformation and real-time data.
Dates: 4 May 2026 – 8 May 2026
Capacity: Limited to 25 participants (Group 1).
Key Topics: Practical training with IoT sensors, data analytics, green logistics, and automated inventory tracking.
2. Shipping, Customs & Freight Forwarding Management
A comprehensive guide to navigating the complexities of international trade and regulatory compliance.
- Dates:
Group 1: 11 May 2026 – 15 May 2026.
Group 2: 18 May 2026 – 22 May 2026.
Capacity: 25 participants per group.
Key Topics: Documentation (Bill of Lading, Airway Bill), Incoterms 2020, HS Code navigation, and marine insurance.

Participation is 100% sponsored by the state. Due to the limited intake of 25 participants per session, early registration is highly encouraged.
