The Industry And Student Engagement Department organized an industry visit to Swift Integrated Logistics, on Friday 17/02/2023. Our students had learnt about freight forwarding, sea import and export process, land transportation, for local delivery and cross border trucking, custom clearance and warehouse operations.
Some of our students had replied correctly to the questions asked by Mr Simon, GM of Warehouse and Transportation and won prizes.
Mr Simon was very impressed by our their interest, knowledges and dynamism.
Mr Simon and his team had brought our students to visit their food grade and non food grade warehouses, and introduced the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and about different types of forklifts: industrial reach forklift, forlift roll clam, industrial counterbalance forklift.
Mr Simon will invite our students for another site visit in a few months time.
