Educational Talk by PDRM Johor
On February 29, 2024, Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC) hosted an insightful educational talk titled “Bicara Integriti dan Antirasuah,” presented by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Johor. The event, which drew an audience of 120 students and 20 staff members, featured ASP Nadzrul Idham bin Abdullah, the Head of Integrity and Standard Compliance at IPD Johor Bahru Selatan, as the keynote speaker. His presence and expertise brought significant value to the session, making it a highlight of the academic calendar.
The program commenced with opening remarks by Ts. Mr. Hairul Azmi bin Mohamed, Head of Coordinator at the Academic Department, who emphasized the importance of integrity in both personal and professional spheres. ASP Nadzrul Idham then delivered a comprehensive two-hour session, sharing real-world experiences and providing in-depth insights into the principles of integrity and anti-corruption. His talk was designed not only to inform but also to inspire students and staff to uphold these values in their daily lives.
The session concluded with a lively Q&A segment, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with ASP Nadzrul Idham, asking questions that delved deeper into the complexities of integrity and ethical behavior. This was followed by a pop quiz, which further engaged the audience and reinforced the key points discussed during the talk.
The primary aim of the program was to enhance the understanding of integrity among both students and staff, underscoring the vital role that ethical behavior and anti-corruption practices play in their academic and professional lives. The event was a significant step in NMUC’s ongoing efforts to cultivate a culture of integrity, ensuring that these principles remain at the forefront of the university’s educational mission.
