EVOLUSI Bersatu Sdn Bhd (EBSB) found its breakthrough project a year before the pandemic.

The Sabah-based company was awarded a contract for the onshore maintenance, modification and construction by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd in 2019 for its facilities in Sabah.

According to EBSB managing director Muhamad Tolling, the company has been growing from strength to strength with the support from its local workforce and guidance from clients such as Petronas and through the Sabah government’s initiatives.

“We are fully staffed with a local multi-ethnic workforce to provide services in the areas of planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, delivery, installation and re-commissioning on site, which are done manually and digitally by our specialists.

“Along the way, we have received many notable recognitions in performance and Health Services Excellence awards. We have been awarded the Gold Class 1 Award by the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health for two successive years (2019 and 2020),” he said.

He said EBSB has 600 talented local Sabahans from various backgrounds and trades to support its operations in Sabah, Sarawak and Kemaman (Terengganu) by engaging local manpower for the operations.

“This is how we create more value and build trust by expanding our business and growth throughout the country.

“We are now involved in most services within the industry and manage to build the trust from and value for our distinguished clients,” he said, adding that this in line with EBSB’s vision to be among the most active local service provider in the oil and gas industry.

“We believe in human capital development and our workforce is our biggest asset.

“A significant amount of budget has been invested in the development of their soft and hard skills, as well as in specialised training for technical personnel,” he said.
