Strengthening Maritime Innovation: NMUC and Dalian Maritime University Collaborate on Advanced ROV Wireless System
Last week, NMUC’s Chairman, Prof. Dato’ Sri Dr. Captain Razali, alongside the Director of PVSB, Prof. Dr. Captain Norzali, visited Dalian Maritime University (DMU) to further strengthen their collaboration on the Underwater Subsea Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Wireless System. This ongoing project, which builds on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between NMUC and DMU last December, focuses on advancing cutting-edge technology in marine robotics and underwater systems.
The visit was warmly received by DMU’s President, Professor Shan Hongjun, and Prof. Fu Xianping, head of the Robotic Underwater Lab, who both expressed great enthusiasm for the joint efforts. This partnership marks a significant stride in advancing innovation and technology in the maritime sector, paving the way for further breakthroughs in subsea exploration and operations.
With both institutions committed to pushing the boundaries of marine technology, this collaboration promises to deliver impactful results for the global maritime industry.
